Leadership for women in sport who want to lead with clarity, confidence, and conviction — without burning out or shrinking back.
Â
If you’ve ever felt capable but hesitant — confident on the outside but second-guessing yourself behind the scenes — you’re not alone. Leading in sport comes with pressure, politics, and unspoken rules that weren’t built with you in mind.
LEADING IN SPORT CANÂ BE A CHALLENGE
You didn’t step into sport because you wanted a title or power.
You stepped in because you care about the game, the people, and the community.
And yet, leadership can feel heavy.
You might:
- Hold a lot of responsibility without much support
- Want to speak up, but second-guess how you’ll be received
- Feel caught between being clear and confident without being labelled “too much”
This isn’t a confidence problem.
It’s a context problem — and it’s incredibly common in sport.
THIS PROGRAM ISN'T ABOUT CHANGING YOU
She Rises in Sport isn’t about becoming louder, tougher, or someone you’re not.
It’s about helping you lead as yourself — with clarity, confidence, and conviction in real sporting environments.
You already have the capability. This program gives you the language, frameworks, and support to use it in the environments you’re actually working in.
Â
By the end of the program, you will:
-
Trust your judgement and back your decisions — even when the room is challenging
-
Speak with clarity and confidence in meetings, feedback conversations, and high-pressure moments
-
Stop overthinking how you’re coming across and start leading with intention
-
Handle conflict, feedback, and tension without spiralling or shutting down
-
Hold your authority without hardening — and your warmth without being dismissed
-
Feel clearer about the leader you are and how you want to show up in sport

WHY THIS MATTERS
Â
When women lead with clarity and confidence, sport becomes a place people want to stay, grow, and belong.
But this isn’t just about representation or being “at the table.”
It’s about you:
- Feeling confident backing your decisions
- Speaking up without second-guessing yourself
- Leading in a way that feels sustainable, not exhausting
Because when you lead well, with confidence and conviction, the ripple effect reaches your team, your organisation, and the culture around you.
Why learn with me?
I’m Mon — a leadership and communication coach with over 20 years’ experience across professional sport, media, and high-performance environments.
I work as an international MC across major sporting events and high-pressure stages, and I was honoured to be named 2025 Runner Up – Women Changing the World Awards for my work advancing gender equality in sport.
But titles aside, what matters most is this:
I’ve spent my career inside the systems women are navigating — AFLW, Super W Rugby, A-League Women, Football Australia, Member Federations, and community sport — supporting women to lead with confidence in environments that weren’t built with them in mind.
I understand the nuance.
I understand the pressure.
And I’m deeply f#*king committed to changing how leadership support shows up for women in sport.
My approach is practical, playful and human. We do real work, have honest conversations, and use tools you can apply immediately — without jargon, ego, or pretending leadership has to look one particular way.
This isn’t about fixing you. It's about supporting you navigating a broken outdated system.
This work matters to me because I’ve seen what changes — for individuals, teams, and entire organisations — when women are properly supported to lead.
